The O-Team

Ryans Creek Baptist Church - The O-TeamOutreach is very important to Ryans Creek Baptist Church. The O-Team or (The Outreach Team) has made it their mission to identify a variety of opportunities to reach out into the community with acts of service and gospel conversations.  Many of these opportunities present themselves outside of our community.  Nevertheless, our goal is to reach people with the gospel through acts of love and service.  Here is a list of activities The O-Team has made part of their regular routine:
 
  • Feburary – We take the children to the nursing home to hand out gospel valentines to the residents.
  • April –  We sponsor a community easter egg hunt.
  • May – The O-Team helps with outreach during the fishing tournament meeting and tournament.
  • July – We help with the car show.
  • August – We provide gospel back pack tags to students and feed the teachers a few times   during the school year.
  • September – We sponsor the church float in the fair parade and hand out giant money faith-based tracts along the route.
  • October – We have a trunk-or-treat each year on halloween and hand out tracts to all the kids that come through.  We also work the concession stand for one of the home games for Cold Springs High School.
  • November – Our O-Team members support efforts for operation christmas child drop off and packing of shoeboxes. We are also one of two drop off locations for all of Cullman.
  • December- We have a church float in the annual Christmas parade in Cullman and hand out Christmas faith-based tracts along the route.
  • We also provide tracts for any ministry or member that requests them.
